Friday of the Twenty-Fifth Week in Ordinary Time
First Reading: Ecclesiastes 3: 1-11

“....for nothing will be impossible for God.” God has the power to do anything. With him virgins and aged conceive. Such is his might. The young Virgin Mary gets her official appointment to be the mother of God (Jesus). This in a great deal changed the course of her life. Sometimes or most of the times, God’s divine plan comes to effect changes in our lives. Mary receives her role in the angel’s visit. Avail yourself and no matter your state, God would have an appointment for you.

In today's gospel, Jesus asked his disciples about his identity. A friend of mine reflecting on this said everyone needs a feedback. What is a feedback? It is a responds of assessment. Teachers will conduct exams to see if the students understood the lessons. Medical practitioners would run tests to get responds. Jesus wants to know if he is indeed being understood. Do you stop to ask yourself how is the journey of life going? Many are the retreat centers but do you find time to reflect on your performance in life? Ask and get answers to see if you are on track. Pause and ask trusted people who am I.
