This year’s Diocesan Conference was under the theme: Overcoming the Storms of Life as Christian Mothers. The Conference offered the Christian Mothers, the opportunity to prepare themselves spiritually and adequately for the celebration of Easter. There were various talks and programs that empowered the faith and health of the Christian Mothers and challenged them to stand firm in faith in moments of trials.
In both his Keynote Address at the opening ceremony and the Homily at the climax Mass, the Most Rev. Dominic Yeboah Nyarko, Catholic Bishop of Techiman, encouraged the Christian Mothers to know that, like the Apostles who were also tossed by heavy windstorm on the sea (Matt 8:23-27; Mark 4:36-41; Luke 8:22-25), storms are inevitable in the lives of Christians.
